Follow the instructions closely and do all the steps. I have had these for 3 months and they run my vac at least twice as long as the Neato battery's. I had no issue with installing batteries, they were not in hibernating mode. With today's battery technology I was suprised Neato did not use lithium batteries. I had the Neato XVS pet vac for a couple of weeks, the vacuum worked great other then the short battery life. I bought these to replace the stock nigh batteries, the stock batteries lasted about 20 minutes, then had to recharge.

I'll update this if anything terrible happens, but after a month and a half and a good half dozen runs, this is doing pretty well. As long as these batteries don't explode or something due to manufacturing defects, I'm hoping they'll last awhile! (A good li-ion ought to have a longer serviceable life at higher capacity). It also has a little bit of capacity left beyond that. Turns out the neato can now vacuum my whole apartment (less than 650 sq ft) on a single charge. I temporarily fixed this by re-inserting the batteries, but eventually it was a persistent issue.So I ordered new batteries, and decided to go with the higher capacity aftermarket ones here. So I owe one to the people who gave it a try.My neato had been giving a generic battery error message and crapping out if I tried to run it. I wasn't entirely sure new batteries would fix my neato's problems, and when I first saw this the Li-ion batteries there were no reviews.
